Getting Started

To begin customizing your t-shirt:

  • Launch the Designer: Start your design process by clicking the Design Your T-Shirt button on the homepage.
  • Log In / Sign Up: If you’re a returning user, log in to save your designs for future edits; new users can sign up with a quick registration.

Key Designer Concepts

  • Decoration Area: All customizations are applied within the designated t-shirt print area. Any decoration outside this area will be cropped.
  • Layering: Design elements (text and images) are added in layers. Items on higher layers may cover those on lower ones.
  • Effects: Enhance your design with text effects (like shadows and glows) or image effects to make your t-shirt stand out.

Designer Screen Layout

The Custom Your TShirt Designer screen is divided into several panels:

  • Toolbar: Contains buttons for selecting products, adding text, and uploading designs.
  • Design Area: The central space where your t-shirt appears along with your customizations.
  • Properties Panels: Located on the side; these panels let you adjust text formatting, image effects, positioning, and more.
  • Extra Options: Quick access to preview, save, and share your design.

Changing the Selected T-Shirt

  1. Select the T-Shirt Button: In the toolbar, click the T-Shirt button.

  2. Change T-Shirt Style: Click on the Change T-Shirt button to open a selection popup.

  3. Select Your T-Shirt: Choose the desired t-shirt style. The design area will update accordingly.

Adding Text to Your T-Shirt

  1. Click the Add Text Button: Find and click the Add Text button in the toolbar.

  2. Enter Your Text: In the popup, choose the text type (standard, script, etc.), enter your desired message, and click Add Text.

  3. Position Your Text: The text appears in a bounding box on the t-shirt. Drag, resize, or rotate as needed.

Adjusting Text Properties

  1. Access Text Properties: Click on your text element to display the Text Properties panel on the left.

  2. Edit the Text Box: Update the content directly.

  3. Formatting Options:

    • Font & Color: Select your desired font and color.
    • Bold/Italics: Toggle formatting as needed.
    • Alignment: Use left, center, or right alignment controls.
    • Outline & Effects: Adjust outline thickness and color, and apply effects like shadow or glow.

  4. Positioning Controls: Use the directional arrows or enter precise measurements to reposition or rotate the text.

Adding Designs to Your T-Shirt

Using the Add Design Button

  1. Click the Add Design Button: In the toolbar, select the Add Design button.

  2. Select a Design Type: In the popup, choose the type of design you want to add (upload new image, use store designs, or select from your uploads).

  3. Select and Insert: Click the design to add it to your t-shirt’s decoration area.

Using Drag and Drop

  1. Drag a File: Simply drag your design file from your computer into the t-shirt’s decoration area.

  2. Drop to Upload: When the decoration area is highlighted, release the file.

  3. Confirm Upload: In the popup, select the appropriate design process and confirm that you own the rights to use the image.

  4. Design Appears: The design is added to the t-shirt with resize and rotation handles available.

Adjusting Design Properties

  1. Select the Design: Click on the design element you added.

  2. Image Properties Panel: The panel on the left will display options for:

    • Quality Indicator: Check that the image resolution is suitable.
    • Color Adjustments: Edit colors if your design supports customization.
    • Resize Proportionally: Toggle to keep original dimensions.
    • Position Controls: Adjust the design’s position, size, and rotation.

  3. Apply Effects: Use available effects (e.g., drop shadow, border) to enhance your design.

Specifying T-Shirt Sizes and Quantities

  2. Select Size: Choose a t-shirt size from the drop-down menu.

  3. Enter Quantity: Specify how many t-shirts you want for the selected size.

  4. Add More Sizes: Use the Add Another Size button if you need multiple sizes.

Arranging Layers

    • Reorder: Use up/down arrows to change the stacking order of text and designs.
    • Delete: Click the delete icon to remove unwanted elements.

Previewing, Saving, and Sharing Your Design

Preview Your Design

Save Your Design

  1. Save for Later: Click the Save Your Design icon.
  2. Name Your Layout: In the popup, enter a name for your design and click OK.

Share Your Design

  1. Share Options: Click the Email or Share Your Design icon.
  2. Select a Platform: Choose from available social media options (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest) or share via email.
